Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, deploying, and designing machine learning models to tackle critical business issues.

  • Working closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to define model requirements aligned with business objectives.

  • Implement and maintain data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.

  • Conducting data analysis and exploration to reveal insights and trends that inform business decisions.

  • Develop and refine automated systems for continuous model improvement and performance monitoring.

  • Promoting machine learning best practices in machine learning throughout the organization to help teams utilize data and ML models effectively.

  • Remaining informed about the latest developments in machine learning and data science to identify ways to implement new techniques for our company's benefit.

Ideal qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful machine learning solutions.

  • Experience architecting and maintaining scalable end-to-end ML solutions, with an emphasis on real-time models.

  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.

  • Experience working with MLOps frameworks: AWS SageMaker, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, Google Cloud Vertex AI or open source alternatives.

  • Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language.

  • Experience building and deploying ML services into production environments for inclusion in user-facing products.

  • Experience with building micro services from scratch, including working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.

  • Sound comprehension of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis techniques.Comfort working with large datasets and building scalable data pipelines.

  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Capacity to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and deadlines with precision and quality.

Project Manager

Reports to: Director of Construction

Supervises: Project Superintendents, Foremen and all sub-trades

The Project Manager is appointed by and is directly accountable to the Director of Construction from whom sufficient authority is derived for the full and complete discharge of the responsibilities and duties set forth in the job description.

Responsibilities:

  • Ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the project.

  • As the designated Project Safety Officer, ensures that the project site is in full compliance with all safety policies, procedures and practices.

  • To turn over to the client, in a timely fashion, the entire project with a high degree of quality in the manner prescribed by the contract documents.

  • To fully understand the contract documents and to ensure that any divergence from these documents is formally approved and incorporated into the final documents.

  • Actively assist in the preparation of and subsequent revisions to the project CPM schedule.

  • Responsible for all communications between all parties on the project.

  • Responsible for jobsite security.

  • Commit the Company to variable and fixed costs as provided in the project budget.

    Ensure that the projected profit margins are maintained through the project completion.

Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets when necessary and to aid in the drafting of subcontract agreements and master purchase orders for the project.

  • To monitor the progress of construction as it relates to the schedule and to implement any necessary methodology changes that are required to keep the project on schedule.

  • Maintain a safe workplace for all employees. To monitor adherence by all subcontractors and to advise subcontractors, in writing, of any deficiencies in their safety procedures. Assure that weekly safety meetings are held at the jobsite and documented.

  • Assist the Administration Department in the preparation of a submittal schedule and to project ahead with enough lead-time to ensure that the approval agents receive all submittals in time to allow proper review time.

  • Oversee the drafting of all subcontracts, vendor purchase orders, change orders, internal contract adjustments, subcontract adjustments, project budget adjustments, cost proposals and change orders.

  • Assist the Accounting Department in the preparation of all progress billing requests that go to the Owner and to review and approve subcontractor progress billings.

  • Monitor all project costs, fixed and variable, for compliance with the project’s master budget.

  • Transmit on a regular basis pertinent information as to the status of the project. These reports shall include CPM schedule status, projected cost and variance reports, labor projections and an overall assessment of the status of the project.

  • Manage the project closeout. To assist in the preparation of Guaranty / Warranty Manuals, Operations and Maintenance manuals and As-Built drawings.

  • Review any and all extra work that has been performed on the project, and to ensure that all such work has been documented to Administration and Accounting.

  • Assist in the preparation of the final billing and final accounting for the project.

  • Performs such other duties as are directed by the Director of Construction.

Project Superintendent

Reports to: Project Manager

Supervises: Foremen and all Sub-Trades

The Project Superintendent is appointed by the Director of Construction and is directly accountable to the Project Manager. The Project Superintendent is given sufficient authority from the Project Manager to fulfill the responsibilities and duties set forth in the job description.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in insuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures

    and practices.

  • Complete understanding and interpretation of plans and specifications for the entire project.

  • Supervision of the quality performance of all trades on the project.

  • Coordination for the receipt, handling and placement of all materials required to fulfill the

    Company’s obligations on the project.

  • Actively assist the Project Manager in the preparation of and subsequent revisions to the

    project CPM schedule.

  • Direct and supervise Project Foreman in anticipation of short and long term operational

    needs.

  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of each operation for quality, productivity and

    budget compliance.

  • Initiate positive action to correct substandard quality and/or productivity.

  • Ensure jobsite security is maintained.

  • Maintain adequate field staff to ensure project quality, safety and cleanliness.

  • Timely communication with Project Manager regarding all aspects of project.

Duties:

  • Understanding and monitoring the construction schedule. Conveying changes and

    insuring subcontractors understanding of the construction schedule. Weekly updating

    actual start and completion of schedule activities.

  • Maintain a safe workplace. Conduct weekly safety meetings.

  • Schedule material and equipment deliveries to jobsite to ensure their timely delivery

    as not to delay construction.

  • Understand each subcontractor’s contract agreement and the scope of work defined

    by that agreement.

  • Monitor all direct work including labor, material and equipment.

  • Continually check the layout of key building components for both direct work

    and subcontractor work to ensure correctness and avoid construction delays.

  • Maintain As-Builts drawings on a weekly basis.

  • Performs such other duties as directed by the Project Manager or Director of

    Construction.

  • Completion of Daily Reports detailing subcontractor manpower, activities of the day,

    problems encountered, incident reports and visitors to site with all pertinent details.

  • Verify that all weather reports and incidents are documented.
